Rideworks Review

Rideworks Improves Access to Regional Construction Information

Commuters now have up-to-date information on highway construction projects at their fingertips. Rideworks has just launched a new construction section for the region on this website.

Traffic advisories for area highway and roadway construction projects are available here 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Just go to www.rideworks.com and click on “Construction.”
The easy-to-navigate site was developed in cooperation with the Connecticut Department of Transportation (CDOT) and features sections on New Haven area highway and roadway improvements, I-95 New Haven Harbor Crossing (NHHC) Corridor Improvement Program and New Haven area bridge improvements.

In addition to traffic advisories, general project information and up-to-date details are also available, including estimated start and completion dates and descriptions of work being done. Information is also available on future projects that have not started construction yet.

This site is coordinated with the I-95 NHHC Corridor Improvement Program website (www.I95newhaven.com). Also included are links to CDOT traffic cameras for real-time images of traffic conditions, project area maps, the CDOT homepage and commute alternatives.

Visitors can also sign up to receive automatic email notification of significant lane closures/traffic details related to the I-95 NHHC Corridor Improvement Program.

The site is continually updated with reports from CDOT, so check frequently for lane closures/traffic detours and project details.
If you’re already on the road, traffic advisories are also available on Rideworks Area Construction Hotline (203-777-INFO) 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

For information about commute alternatives, contact Rideworks at 1-800-ALL-RIDE or info@rideworks.com and get matched with others to ease your travel, especially in busy construction corridors.
