Shore Line Express Offers One-Seat Ride from Old Saybrook to Stamford
Faster train service is now available from Old Saybrook to Bridgeport and Stamford. The Shore Line East Commuter Rail Service introduced the new Shore Line Express, offering area commuters the first one-seat ride from Old Saybrook to Stamford.

Pre-tax Commuting Benefit Increased Up to $100 for Trains, Buses and Vanpools

The commute to work became more cost-effective as of January 1, 2002. In 2002, employers can offer their employees up to $100 per month in pre-tax commuting benefits for transit and vanpool fares, an increase from $65 previously allowed under the federal tax code.
