The Dattco S-Route service is designed to connect with the "Shoreline Shuttle", which operates between Madison and Old Saybrook. This connection allows transit between New Haven and Old Saybrook. All connections take place at the Scranton Memorial Gazebo, located on Samson Rock Drive in Madison(east of the Stop & Shop). Free transfers between the DATTCO S-Route and the "Shoreline Shuttle" are available. Schedule for the Dattco S-Route (Effective November 1, 2004)
The Shoreline Shuttle has been able to provide continuing service along the Route One Corridor since 1999. This shuttle bus meets the Dattco S-Route bus out of New Haven to Madison. They now accept transfers aboard the shoreline shuttle for riders comming aboard from DATTCO's S-Route in Madison. They also honor monthy rail pass holders for the Shore Line East or New Haven Rail Line Commuter services. Funding for the Shoreline Shuttle Public Bus service is provided by our local Towns, the Federal and Satet Departments of Transportation and the Regional Development Board via Regional Growth Connection.
